after a year of nothing getting released, the nearfield implodes is currently collaborating with town of dying slowly on a split release, perhaps an e.p., perhaps a full length...time will tell. stay tuned.

by the way...did you know that Chad from nmvgpts is now a member of the glorious Mico de Noche?! MdN also features former members of Helltrout for those of you old enough to remember such bands.

Jason of the 'parts also sports an awesome new band called Gold Teeth with former members of The Mexican Blackbirds, The Pages, Argonaut, and Plastards! go be a sport and check those bitches out!

The Nearfield Implodes has posted a Syd Barrett dedication. A digital ep of original material is still in the works, but slower going than originally expected.

Things are a-bubblin' here in the molasses-slow world of noise. NMVGPTS are currently getting their toes back into the water - expect that their site will have updates. The 'parts first album is still for sale at this site (though you may notice (ti)won's address has changed), and you can also visit their page at MySpace.com. Wicked.

The Nearfield Implodes are currently recording a digital single, with artwork and everything! Two songs of random acousto-digital tweaking, submitted for your critique. As with everything Nearfield does, this material will not be sold. It is here for you to plunder, you pirates of the digital age!
